Military Life

While Kris was on his last deployment; his brother Drew went to the tattoo shop and got this AWESOME tattoo as a tribute to his hero!  He did it while the kids and I were in town over the summer.  When he showed it to me; we all got choked up and cried.  Kris will be getting one next to match what Drew did.  This will be something that the two of them as brothers will always share with each other forever!!!!


 

Its bad enough that a couple of weeks ago, the night I put out all my fall decorations they were stollen off my front porch…… I had to take my dashund to the vet today because she is vomiting her brains out and some one has poisoned her….. I am beyond pissed off. I dont leave my dogs out all day like other neighbors do for me to hear them yapping all freaking day. My dogs do their business and want back in cause they are my princesses and are spoiled rotten. So I went out in my back yard to look around to see if I see anything, so yeah my gate has been tampered with and tried to be pried open with what looks like a croe bar because I have them pad locked. These might be new houses but you cant take the trailor trash out of some people I guess…… To think I am totally anti-social and dont speak to anyone. I stay to myself and I know who my kids hang with. Sooooo, $200 later and meds to detox my dogs kidneys and liver.  I AM FURIOUS!

I’m elated!  I’m anxious!  I’m nervous!  I’m freaking out!!!!!!  He will be home by the end of this week!  OMG!  I have so much to do in such a short amount of time.  I am still with my trainer 3 days a week for 2 hours session and on 3 other days of the week I walk 6 miles on those days with 2 of my friends and it takes us about 2 hours to do it, I have been scrubbing the house from top to bottom (like I’m nesting or something), getting the yard squared away with plants being re-potted, getting weeds picked and mowed, oh and my sunflowers I planted like 6 weeks ago are blooming just in time for Kris to be home and they look gorgeous against our white privacy fence!!!  I have been given the task of putting together about 100 goodie bags for the single Marines that are headed back to the barracks to live when they get off the buses this weekend.  Thank God I have some great wives who have donated money and their time to help  me get this all together.  So much to do and not many more days to do it in!  At least I got my welcome home outfit today!!!!  I’m in LOVE with the Old Navy Sweetheart cut jeans!  Got me a red sexy shirt to go with them and gonna wear my red hooka heals to match!  LOL  Dont be laughing…..  I know what my husband likes!  OH MY GOD and I cant sleep!!!!!!  Soon everyone!  VERY SOON!!!!!

Zack marched in his very 1st Marching Band competition last Saturday. I went and sat in the ran while they did an outstanding job playing for a crowd full of bleachers and judges. I was so proud of him! On the video he is the one on the front left with a saxophone. When I saw him marching and leading the band out I was like, “holy crap where is his glasses? They have let the blind boy lead the band out”. Then it dawned on me the rain was probly making it worse to see so he took them off. The video is shaking because I was trying to hold a monsterous umbrella and the video recorder. Enjoy!

So I’m sporting a new do!  My friend called me up and needed me for a technical interview at the local Ulta that is getting ready to open up.  I got a free cut and color on her since I was her live interview!  Pretty cool if you ask me and she did a fabulous job!  And it all came at a great time with Kris getting ready to come home!  Sometimes God surprises me and works out the little details of life! 

Holy cheese sticks!  I have not blogged in a while because I have just way to much going on right now.  Gavin turned 10 and he had a really good birthday.  Boy was he surprised when he went to blow out his candles…. Mom got him!  LOL    Trickster candles!  heehee!  He got lots of loot from grandparents in the mail and got some really cool toys he asked for.  Its was like Christmas to him.  heehee!  I cant believe I have had him in my life now since he was 2.  Its seems like he has always been there.  He is such a good boy and I am so proud of how hard he works in school, how well he plays football / baseball / soccer, and is such a good helper around the house when asked.  God has blessed me with great kids all the way around.
