She is 12
Our Princess turned 12 this week. Kris sent her flowers to school and also called her and was patched through to her class room during third period. She was so excited and taken back by his love for her that she cried in the classroom and the teacher hovered over near her so the other students wouldn’t see her face. Her daddy had me buy this ring she wanted for her birthday that is 14K gold and it reads “Princess”. (She’s not rotten at all) She sure has her Daddy by the heart strings!
I remember just like it was yesterday having that sweet little angel placed in my arms for the first time. I can even remember the way she smelled and how tiny and delicate she was. I did it all with the help of my mom and Linda (both of Emily’s Grandma’s). That was a precious moment that was shared between the 3 of us that I will cherish forever. Emily was born on her Mi-Mi Linda’s wedding anniversary. She told me Emily was the best gift ever. I swear I see her in Emily all the time…… in her smile and in her crazy sillyness.
Emily did have a slumber party. WOW! I must have been half asleep when I agreed to that. They had an appetizer theme for dinner and watched 3 movies. Of course no slumber party was complete without playing hide and go seek in the dark outside. Around 4 this morning they settled down. It made me smile to wake them all up at 8am!!!! I kindly opened the dog kennel and the dogs attacked with their tongues going from girl to girl pouncing on each one of them equally….. It was great! Happy Birthday Princess your one of my best accomplishements in life!
