Monkey Joes

Last Saturday a bunch of the Military Police wives  got together and car-pooled to Wilmington NC an hour away to a place called Monkey Joes.  Its  a “GINORMOUS” air conditioned building with bouncy houses gallore!  We all had a ball!  I cant wait for Kris to come home so we can go back and spend the day there with our kids.

Princess Emily

Well our little Princess has started Middle School and is now in the 6th grade.  She is also in the band for the very 1st time and learning to play the flute.  She is very good so far!  Emily is also riding the school bus for the 1st time this year as well.  An “ADJUSTMENT” let me just say.  Zack has one of his older friends Alex keeping an eye on her (that boy is the size of her daddy).  Cheerleading started for Emily and I as well.  She is cheering for the Rams this football season and I am coaching her squad.  Now all that is missing is her daddy sitting in the stands tossing jokes and cheer arm movements at her!  LOL  We cant wait for him to be home and help her shake her pom-poms too!

Gavitron

Gavin started 4th grade this year.  No more siblings in the same school with him at all this year so its a big adjustment not having Emily there any more.  He is also playing football.  We have been at practices from 5-7 for the past 2 weeks and have 2 more weeks to go like this until the season starts, then it goes back down to 2 practices.  He is playing on the RedSkins with Coach Wes and he is very good!  I cant wait for Kris to come home and see the last few games.  I am also crazy enough to coach 2 cheerleading squads this year and Gavins little RedSkin Cheerleaders are the other team….

Zack~ Attack

So all last week was Mission Jacksonville :  A Cry Out for our City.

Zack went with the teens every day last week on missions around our city.  They met every morning from 9am unitl 3pm.  During that time they broke off in little teams and set out on foot praying, helping, and witnessing to others.  During this time of crying out for the city Zack prayed for the Tax Collector of J-Ville, all the woman in the AT & T Building, went around to a senior citizens complex knocking door to door and asking did they need any type of help with small tasks that might be harder on them (he took apart a broken desk for an elderly lady - she was very happy), he washed cars for a pastors meeting at a church while they were all inside have a meeting, he prayed for a man strung out on drugs for about 20 minutes he says and saw the man break down in front of him and pour out his dreams that he has given up because of his drug dealing life style…….  WOW!  For Zachary to be only 15 he isnt so shy when he lets the Lord lead him…..  Every night they all met back up at the church from 6pm until almost 10:30pm every night in prayer and praise for the city.  Can I just add here as a mother I have never seen my son so alive as this past week.  My prayer is that this passion he has tapped into will continue to burn inside of him and carry on and get stronger.  God has a HUGE plan for this child.  He has gone thru some stuff for a reason.  He wants to play in the band at church again and I couldnt be more thrilled about it.  Satan has been trying to really defeat him with some personal things in his life and I see a break thru happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  God is still on his throne!

A sweet note from my honey!

(I’ve not shared very much with everyone this deployment because I dont have all the free time to do it like last time.  Even though this is personal and not really meant for any of you, you get his mood, and see that he is ready to be home. )  I miss his more than any one could realize……
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just love you so much more and am ready to be home….. less than 3 months until we set sail again….  I know we aren’t wealthy, but I am truly rich!  I have three great kids, a beautiful daughter (who I can still
take credit for), the most unbelievably sexy wife (yes baby, you do it for me!!!!) great dogs, and all the little toys and trinkets I need.  I have been blessed to be able to take the most wonderful and romantic vacations with the hottest woman in the world (who happens to be my best friend and lover).  What more could a guy want in life.
Anywho, I love you too!!
XOXO
The count down is on!
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can I just say that there is like 9 more weeks until
begins!  WOOHOO!  I’m so excited!  He is ready to be home as well.  He is very sick of everyone he is with.  He has loud and very rude neighbors I might add that wont let him sleep if he has been on duty for 24 hours.  I swear they cant go to the bathroom without him.  He is exhausted and ready for some serious R & R.  He looks fine  as you can see here !  We cant wait till you come home baby!
I’m totally grossed out…..
So we woke up this morning to a horror flick happening in my garage!!!!  I about vomited when I saw it.  MAGGOTS, yes  that is what I just said.  I have known that there is some sort of back up or leaking water pipe some where under the concrete in my garage.  So, unless I see it standing in puddles in my garage housing will do nothing about it.  Well, thousands of maggotts all over my garage floor, the walls, crawling out of every crack and crevase.  I fist thought it was my trash but it wasnt.  It has to be that moisture in the garage.  I am so freaking grossed out by it all.  We sealed my laundry room door with duct take because they were coming in under the laundry room door.  I searched and searched on the web and nothing kills them other than boiling hot water and bleach mixture.  Well fire is the other one but I dont own this house we rent it from the military. Bug spray makes them crawl faster and I was like yeah right!  Well it really does, its like slugs on crack.  This is my nasty ass story and I’m sticking to it! I wonder if Kris would kill me if I moved……..
My brother
A brothers love is unique you see.
God blessed me with Paul when I was too youg to see.
I waited and waited until he was born so tiny and wide eyed a whole life ahead to grow.
I watched you grow and tot around, following me and buggin me, and making so many sounds!
I loved to dress you up in my doll clothes and put lipstick on you, however, Dad didn’t find too funny as you and I.
I watched you grow into a heck of boy, you were wild and fearless, and always into mischeveousness!
I watched you graduate and become a man, it’s always been a part of God’s master plan.
You married a priceless beauty named Shawna and gave me a sister that I have always wanted.
I wished I could have been there are ya’lls big day but life has other plans sometimes I hear people say.
Now that your a dad now too, I couldnt be more proud of you.
I’m in total love with that little man you see, because he hold the keys to TT’s heart you see.
I know I dont often tell you how much I love you but I hope this says it all because I really and truely do!
Keep God first and love him always, and watch God’s tapesty of beauty never cease to unfold around you ………
I’m the Baby!
What Makes A Dad?
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it…..  DAD!!!!!!
I LOVE MY DADDY!!!!!!!!!!
