Military Life

I hear thru the grapevine that he acts just like my brother Paul!  LOL He is always ion the go, go, go!   I am in LOVE with this little guy!  He is such a good baby and goes with the flo!  I HATE being away from him…….

Gosh my little nieces are getting so big so fast!  They are both very beautiful!

Hmmmm!  If he wanted to roll around in the mud I could have saved him the trip and drove him over to Mike’s Farm!  This is what he does when he goes away for training……..  I think its all a conspiracy!

So I decided Monday morning to pile the kids up in the car before school to get their 2nd dose of the Hep A vaccine…..  I go in fill out all the paper work and we wait.  Gavin is up first!  I go in close the door with the nurse and tell him to take his arm out of his long sleeve.  Eyes wide with the deer in the headlights look and wham he is done.  His arm is now stuck in the neck of the sleeve cause he is goody and stuck it back thru the neck.  Emily is second!  She proceedes to go down on one knee clasping her hands together, “NO NO NO” please dont make me do it mother!  We can go and I’ll let you cut all my hair back off please no shots….  oh God…..  how many mom?  I am at this point about to pee my pants from laughiing at this chicken!  We go in.  Take your arm out of your long sleeve.  She has never removed her eyes from the needle since walking in the door.  The nurse says you ready?  Emily turns to me eyes full of fear and tears how many am I getting mom?  I start laughing and hold her hand and told her to quit looking at that needle but she would not hear of it.  AW-AW-AW jumps down and runs out the door all in on step.  Zack is third!  Big and macho man that he is…..  this is a piece of cake.   Zack takes his shirt off LOL!  She gives it and he holds his breath.  We walk back to the hallway and he is like I swear she hit my bone this hurt worse than the first one mom.  We wait the 20 minutes too see of there are no reactions.  I check Zack in at school and Gavins class was ther getting ready to watch the play so I walked him over to his teacher in the auditorium.  Me and Em leave and she turns to me and says, “So what do you want to go and do today”.  Your going to school!  But I had to get a shot!  So!  Your going to school cause I have home work to do!  These are the little things that make me love being a mother! 

I dont really have much to post about today.  Church was really good this morning!  The praise and worship was electric!  The pastor spoke on how do you know if your following your dream and gave a 6 point sermon on it which was amazing.  It was confirmation to me that going after my nursing degree is what God has layed on my heart to persue in order to use me in the future for his kingdom and to just serve others.  I know nursing is going to be a very long hard road to go down but just knowing that God himself wants me to do this as much as I want to do this, I just know he wont let me fail. 

The kids and I went to see the movie The Water Horse on base at the theatre.  Its a great kids movie!  I highly reccommend it! 

I miss Kris and wish he were here right now!!!!  I’m very impatient you know!  LOL  12 more days till he is back home. I did find out my trip is going to be from the 25th thru the 29th that he has planned for us…..  I dont know yet what the surprise is????  I am very anxious to find out!  I just know my friend Charity up here is a God send! She is going to pack up her 4 kids and dog to come stay at my house while we are gone and watch the kids.  We’ve been friends with her and her husband since Kris was stationed at McDill maybe 8 years ago was when our friendship came about???  I have old timers and cant remember?  heehee

Well I’m off to do English home work!  YEAH for me!
