First day of school……

All the kids have survived!  Zack started the 9th grade and is now in high school.  His electives this year are Drama and ROTC.  He is really excited about them! Kris is going to help volunteer with the ROTC program since it was his thing in high school as well.  Zack also started soccer season this week and that should run thru till November.

Emily started the 5th grade.  This is her last year in Elementary school.  She is getting so tall.  She also just cut all her hair off and donated it to locks of love.  I will post picts in another post.  I have to hold her down to snap photos anymore.  She is on the Double Dutch jump rope team at school and is really good.  Cheerleading just started for her and I again.  I coach her squad.  (God help!  All the pre-teen moody girls LOL!)  We both enjoy doing this together.

Gavin started the 3rd grade.  He is still with the same teacher now for the last 3 years.  This is really helpfull to Kris and I especially with all the stuff she has helped us work thru as a team with him.  He is stable now and the better kid of all the ones that lives under our roof.  The meds have brought out the pleasant little boy we new exsisted in there.  His last testing showed that he does have a learning disability.  He will be going to occupational therapy for hand eye coordination.  He can verbally tell you the answers but has a hard time remembering how to get it on the paper.  His Doctors, teacher, and us couldnt be more thrilled at how much he has progressed.

In Loving Memory

Kris and I both have lost a big part of our child hood memories this year.  Our grandfathers. They both played huge rolls in our lives, from being the best baby sitters in the world, to fishing trips, hunting trips, and just simply spoiling us…..  Heaven needed them more and they are both home and neither one of them in pain.  See you soon and please meet us at the gates!
