Military Life

I found this chica on MYSPACE that does these really cool layouts for military families!  Just wanted to share what they looked like. Go “OO-RAH GRAPHICS”!!!!!

As most of you know “I CANT STAND DRAMA” of any kind…… Well being in the military world with Bitchy Women around its always there.  AND I MEAN ALWAYS!  I stay to myself pretty much most of the time associating mostly only with my kids friends parents.  I met a wife of one of Kris fellow Marines right before they deplolyed in Aug 05.  She had just had a little boy names John!  Me and Michelle just seemed to click.  I have had a few girlfriends in my time really USE ME & WALK ALL OVER ME causing the friendship to end.  This is why I am not so trusting anymore of the same sex…….  Well Michelle and I have been thru alot over the past 2 years of our friendship.  We’ve had a slumber hurricane party that lasted for 4 days, 2 Valentiens Day Dinners together, seen countless movies together, we’ve walked over 100 miles together, twisted ourselves in countless Pilates Poses together while listening to Barry Manilow in the background and laughing disrupting the class, shared lots of secrets that will go to our graves, hugged each other when we needed it cause our men where deployed, worshiped God in church together, played endless card games, and had endless hours of conversations together.  I will cherish all the wonderful memories of my friend Michelle.  I know she was truly and angel that God sent to me at a time in my life when I needed some one most.  You see what really sucks about the military life is that when you do find a true friend like I did in Michelle there is always a time when goodbye is inevitable.  Last Monday was that time for me and it was the hardest thing ever.  She didnt see my few hours of tears after that good bye, but my kids did, nor will she ever feel the lump in my throat as I write this………  I guess what I’m trying to say is she was the sister I never grew up with and I am so honored to have gotten to know her and share fun times with her!!!!!  Thanks Michelle!  But who in the heck am I supposed to call now and you as well at a drop of a hat and plans are made even if they are goofy plans?  My words can not express the grattitude I feel towards you in my heart…….  I do love ya!  UNTIL NEXT TIME MY FRIEND!  Get my room ready at the Stowers Inn in Texas cause I done heard its free!!!!!!!!

Good heavens my little niece and nephew are growing so fast!  I hate watching them grow in photos cause it hurts my heart not to be able to see and hold them every week…….  They are both so very beautiful and unique in their little personalities!  I’m so proud of Paul, Shawna, Drew, & Lindsey for doing such a good job raising them! 

The kids and I couldnt be more “HAPPY” that most of the cold weather is finally gone!  WOO-HOO   We spent Saturday and Sunday playing at the beach!  Saturday was the prettiest!  Sunday we almost got blown away LOL but we did see either 5 or 6 rather large sharks/dolphins playing in the break of the waves maybe 12 feet from where we were standing.  You really could not tell what they were at all.  The kids thought that was amazing and so did I.  I have also spent the last 2 weeks feeding my yard with fertalizer, planting new flowers (I LOVE DOING IT), washing down the house and back porch, and now I need to find a lawn maintenance man to mow (only till Kris gets home - cause he looks really hot pushing a lawn mower!).  I love the spring!  Everything is fruitfull and looks like a new beginning…….  makes me really glad to know that God can look at me everytime I fall down and laugh and say, “he were go again Girl”! I’m so thankful that he makes me pretty and new all over again and lets me have a new beginning even when I dont deserve it sometimes.  Take time and smell the flowers, hug your family daily, and help some one out who really needs it, IT’S GREAT FOOD FOR THE SOUL! 

Well its over! I couldnt be more thrilled!!!!!    I love it and all but 3 straight months gets tiring after a while especially when you have NO help at all……………..  I swear Kris ALWAYS has something to do with the military at the darndest times.  Here are some photos of my babies!  Gaving starts baseball now on April 2!  When I went to sign Gavin up the guy at the Youth Sport Center (which by the way I do belive is VERY sweet on me, he looks like the African American version of Kris) tried to get me to coach.  I was like, “PLEASE”!  I am too pretty to throw a  ball around and I dont do clay.  LOL
