So very Busy
Well the month of October is finally coming to a close and I havent blogged in a while. The kids are all getting really big and so grown. The older they get the more they think they know LOL……. that is until Kris and I have had enough and cant stand it anymore and put them all in their tiny places in the world.
Emily - she has been cheerleading and doing a great job. (I do coach her squad so I am going to brag and say how very well they are doing!) There team is in the playoffs this week coming up and if they win this conference game they will go on to what they call the SuperBowl up here for the kids. Regardless if they win or loose our girls will be cheering/dancing at the half time show. They have worked very hard on the routine and I’m so proud of them. Emily was involved with the youth at church today cause it was there service. They acted out a play to a Steven Curtis Chapman Song something about “If we are the body why arent his arms reaching”…… and so on…. It was awesome! They did another one by Kirk Franklin “Our God is an Awesome” .
Gavin - this week at school they dressed up like scare crows and celebrated Autum. He is reading so good and learing about the clouds and atmosphere at school. I have been watching him at church and he is really coming out of his shell. He is clapping and raising his hands during praise and worship and its really neat to see him do this. Basketball season is coming up and he will be playing B-Ball. We had a Harvest Festival at church last night and everytime I turned around he either had Cotton Candy, a Cow Tail, Or Suckers hangind out of his mouth. So needless to say that when we got home last night was on a sugar high and I was like OH GOD what did I do……. LOL. I dont buy the stuff at home anymore so when all the kids get candy they inhale it!
Zack - is now on Concerta and is doing better in school. I had him tested for ADD and he was posative for it. I just though he was being lazy and now I feel bad for even thinking it. When the teachers kept saying he cant focus everything distracts him I knew it wasnt him being lazy that he really was having issues focusing cause I saw it at home too. He is like night and day on the meds and I am so thankfull that I did something about it. He doesnt seemed scatter brained anymore. He preformed a band concert at school with his classmates and we will get to see the winter concert comming up in the next few weeks. Just like Gavin Basket ball season is comming up and he will be playing. He finally cut his hair. Its kinda surfer looking and cute on him. He is getting taller everyday. He keeps asking me when will his voice change and I just laugh and tell him soon enough Zack……
Kris - he is in California right now doing some training for the upcomming Feb 07 deployment to Iraq. Dont know if he will go or not due to the job change. Until he gets orders for Washington he will be going to Iraq. Kris and I just pray God your will whatever it is. What ever is meant to be will be. He hates the desert right now where he is. He is tired he says of dining on MRE’s….. He got really sick the 1st week out there. Was out in the field burning up with a fever and dehydrated. He had some flu and they had to call the medics for him. He is feeling better now. But could you imagine being in a desert over 100 degrees with they flu and fever? I didnt hear from him for 4 days and I just felt something was really wrong and when he did call to tell me what had happened I knew….. isnt it funny how God tells you things in your spirit?
My dog Saydee- running in the back yard last Wednesday fell in a hole and ripped her ACL and another tendon basically shattering those tendons in the knee…. had to have emergency surgery ($600) and now I’m nursing and hurt dog. She is my baby though and I would just die if something happened to her. She looks funny with half her butt, belly, and 1 leg shaved. Good Lord! Has anyone ever had to shove amoxacillan down and dogs throat? YUCK! She threw the 1st dose up and I was like GROSS…. not digging thru that! I have mastered the art of pills and the dog. Chalk that up to another hat I wear daily!
Will blog more later after tricker-treating!
