Gray, wet, cold, and runny noses.
It rains all the time this part of the year in North Carolina. I thought Florida was bad in the summer months but this is horrible! Its been in the 20’s all week. Ice has covered everything in the mornings. Lets see, Emily is my healthy child all the time and just plugging along in Cheerleading! Zack is hacking, coughing, and sneezing everywhere. Had to take him to the doctor Friday. They gave him a decongestant to turn his nose off so hopefully it will clear up his cough. Gavin has a cold and has dry cracked bleeding lips and wont quit licking them, or biting his nails which bleed all the time too, and probably why his runny nose wont go away. I have sinus issues as well but not too bad. Then to top it all off my big dog Chelcee has an ear infection and its bleeding and stinks so bad I pored peroxide in it last night. GROSS! She is going to the vet Monday. My Pilates class is going really good. I love the class! The muscles have gotten used to the torture. My friend Charity informed me that I am doing her workout routine with her that her personal trainer put her on. She is probably not even 100lbs. She says the trainer is killing her. I’ll go for moral support since I am there anyways. I can already see a difference in my abs and legs. I’m not trying to loose weight, I am trying to live a more healthy life since my doctor has told me to do stuff to strengthen my back from my car accident 2 years ago. Loosing weight is just a plus to keeping a healthy life. I love my curves and my husband loves them even more ;0) That’s a good thing because most women today look at all these public figures and think what is wrong with me? Lets face it. We are all different; beautiful and unique in our own ways. The simple answer to happiness lies within ” Love yourself for who you are”. We are beautiful and wonderfully created in God’s image!
I took the kids to a Banner Making Party yesterday at the USO here in town. There were tons of wives and kids that showed up to make “Welcome home banners to spouses and Daddy’s”. It was very sweet. We go to a Return and Reunion Brief on Monday night. The kids will be in there own age appropriate class learning the do’s and dont’s of a Daddy comming home from war. I got the advaced Party Dates yesterday that are coming home. NO Kris isnt one of them. He will be home in about 4-5 more weeks. I have a tentative date but am not allowed to disclose any dates to any one other than who the military person appoints to get that information. The reason being is terrorist action. We have to be carefull. They even have been teaching this to the kids in school. Not to talk about it in a public place and not answer any questions from people they dont know. My very good friend is coming back from Oklahoma this week. Her hubby is with Kris and they are across the hall from each other in there tent. I hear Kris and Alan fight like to college girls ;0) I know Kris is anxious to get home! I do know that once they get off the plane they have to come back and turn in weapons, get blood drawn, and go thru a big debriefing before they are released to go home. They are not allowed to leave the Jacksonville area for up to 30 days. Kris I do know is ready for major quiet and down time. We will all have to go to the field house and hunt them down. They make them stand in formation until they are dismissed. Which I think is crazy! They should let them off the bus and just let it be a big free for all ;0) Grab your goods and go home !
